WASH Sector, Cox’s Bazar works relentlessly to ensure that adequate access to water supply, sanitation system, and hygiene services are provided to FDMN camps and Host Communities in Ukhiya and Teknaf upazila. To achieve this objective, the Sector provides coordination support to the Partner organisations to implement programs – mostly but not limited to constructing water supply systems, building sanitation infrastructures, distributing hygiene kits, Managing solid waste and so on. The WASH Sector also targets to achieve positive and sustainable behavioural change through hygiene promotion and inclusive community engagement. The WASH Sector functions through multilateral and simultaneous coordination with Donors, Government, ISCG, UN and WASH Partner organisations. The WASH Sector is led by UNICEF and supported by BRAC.
