The Rohingya Coordination Platform (RCP) is gearing up for the next planning cycle of the Joint Response Plan (JRP). As a critical first step in this process, the Inter-Sector Needs Assessment (ISNA) 2026 will be conducted across 34 refugee camps and host community locations to gather evidence on the needs, vulnerabilities, priorities, and living conditions of affected populations. ISNA is led by the RCP with support from UNHCR and IOM, while field data collection will be implemented by ACTED and NPM. The assessment serves as a key source of information for humanitarian partners, helping to inform strategic planning, prioritization, and resource allocation for the coming response cycle. During this training, enumerators are being equipped with the knowledge and skills required to conduct high-quality, ethical, and reliable data collection, including a thorough understanding of the assessment methodology, questionnaire, research ethics, and field procedures. The training reinforces the principles of professionalism, confidentiality, informed consent, and the “Do No Harm” approach, ensuring that the voices and experiences of communities are accurately reflected in the evidence that will shape future humanitarian action.
